So there starting to monitor all of students activity's on the computers to see if there not smoking bulling and such other things. So it means that the schools are trying to stop bulling and weed. And I think it's a good idea to watch them over and with the number of suicides going on I think the law should be enforced more tightly around teens because of all the things that are going on.
ReplyDeleteShould the school really monitor what there student do online?
ReplyDeleteI think they should look into what there students are doing on there computers at the school. Its ok to look at what they are doing on there computers because it is there property. They should not look at there outside activity that is a complete invasion of privacy it should be illegal the only exception is if someone is getting harassed or something like that otherwise they should stay out of there business.
I don't think schools so be involved as much with students online interactions. Lots of kids put bad things that their parents don't even know about like the swear or take bad pictures or make bad videos. When schools are watching students like they said in the article it can cause bad things to happen like students telling their parents or maybe the students just feel uncomfortable when they know a teacher or someone in the school is watching everything they do online. Maybe they should watch over for students but only a little bit not everyday don't make the students feel weird and don't ask them or talk to them about what they posted online if it doesn't concern someone being bullied or getting hurt.
ReplyDeleteSchools should have the authority to monitor students on what they say and what they do on the world of internet because who knows, one student can be bullying another student or just a fight that might happen after school. Kids now a days post on how they are going to do something to a fellow student or even a teacher. In my opinion schools have all the right to check up on students over the internet, by doing this they just might stop bullying, threats, fights etc.
ReplyDeleteAt schools teachers are the ones who have to look out for their student by, not letting them use their phone/ Ipod during a class. In this occasion it is not the teachers right to make sure that someone is bullying them. If a kid is being bullied like the 12 year Florida girl then they could go talk to their COUNSELORS, and tell them whats been going on. Parents should be checking on their kids phones and making sure their okay.
ReplyDeleteShould the schools be responsible to see what their student are looking in the internet?
ReplyDeleteI think that its not a bad idea but perfect haves it limit, the schhol should look at what their student are looking at not by looking at their monitor all the time the school should have like a computer data base where staff can see what their student are looking at just by category, for example how to build a fire or how to get a car to turn on and other thing
I think that the schools should only monitor what they are doing with the schools computer because it's their computer. They shouldn't see what they're doing with the students own computer because it's his computer and it's their business. So i think that the schools shouldn't see what they're doing.
ReplyDeleteSchools should not get involved with students personal life. There's a reason why some students don't talk about there life at school. If they monitor what we do on the internet and knowing how the government is they will just arrest us or just give us tickets for the dumbest things ever. So they should not even get in to are life at all so we can live peacefully.
