There has been a lot of complaints from the jets that there defense has been playing a lot of pranks to the other players. and they don't feel comfortable with all these pranks going on. like the time that shaved the guys head and made it into the penis Mohawk for all these pranks he has been suspended for the rest of the season and has been banded from the locker room for the rest of the season cause all the immature behavior.
ReplyDeleteSome people see it as bullying but most people don't. Hazing is just a way the team welcomes a new member on the team which is fun for everyone because they just mess around. They do a little far sometimes but that's only because they might be to drunk or they are just being jerks. The guy who plays for the jets even said it happens every year to the new players. Its not to bad it just depends how far they go or what they do. Hazing doesn't sound so bad unless if they get you bad but its just a way they congratulate you to the team as a new brother.
ReplyDeleteHazing could be and could not be part of bullying. It all depends on the way that people behave towards hazing. Some people haze by doing pranks to others, but as a joke. Others use pranks to hurt others feelings or even to injure others. Like on the article about the Dolphin's defense player was doing pranks to his team mates. On that occasion it might be part of bullying, because he would also send text messages to martin.
ReplyDeleteIn the locker room of the Jets, players have being playing a lot of pranks on their own teammates and some teammates don't feel comfortably because some are actually passing the line on pranks. When committing pranks, their is always line that no one should cross for example a fellow teammate cut the others teammate hair into a penis-shape mo-hawk or other teammates have even been racist to other teammates over twitter or even text-message. In my opinion i think that the guys who have been doing most of the pranks, should get permanently banned from playing in the team.

I think that if they are joking and pulling pranks on these rookies i think it is okay but if they take it to far they should stop what they are doing and try to make him feel like he is more wanted. They say that it has been a tradition for a long time to make them pay the tab at a steakhouse but if its exceeding and costing them thousands and thousands of dollars then that is just plain out wrong. In the article it says that on bill grew to over fifty thousand dollars that 'joke' has now gone way to far. It is okay if the team gives the rookies a little bit of crap but taking it to far becomes bullying and they should lay of them a little bit.

Some times one can take it to far to a point where someone might not feel comfortable doing it and might feel like hes getting bulled and not like it. In this casa two player from the dolphins Jonathan Martin was ordering around Richie Incognito. it got to a point where he was getting mad cause he was making racist jokes about him and telling him really bad things that he didn't want to do at all.
ReplyDeleteHazing can be a good thing and a bad thing too. For example the Miami Dolphins do hazing to every new player that is going to be in the football team. It can also be a bad thing because some people take it to far and then the other person won't be too happy with that.So hazing can be a good thing and a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteIs hazing bullying? some people think they are joking with the person many people are sensitive of what other people tell them quote that they said is " he is in a go-kart and he do-sent fit because he is to fat" most people think that's bullying because u are causing someone to think wrong about their self and make them think that they are not worsted living.
